Meet Alicia, LPC
Hi, I’m Alicia—a positive, approachable, and compassionate therapist who’s passionate about helping you navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change.
I know finding the right therapist can feel daunting. Letting yourself be vulnerable with someone new takes courage, and I truly commend you for taking this step. As someone who has walked through my own share of struggles, I’m here to offer a safe space where you feel heard, valued, and understood.
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical and Health Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from East Stroudsburg University. My professional experience spans diverse therapeutic settings, including:
Acute partial programs for children, adolescents, and adults
Inpatient hospitals
Outpatient agencies
Private practice
In addition to my clinical work, I served as a leader for RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, where I facilitated support groups for individuals navigating infertility. This role deepened my passion for supporting the trying-to-conceive community and new parents through life’s emotional complexities.
Outside the office
When I’m not working, I’m a proud mom of two. I thrive on caffeine, embrace organized chaos, and always try to find the humor in life. My personal and professional experiences allow me to bring a unique blend of empathy and expertise to every session. If you’re looking for a therapist who brings compassion, resilience, and authenticity to your journey, let’s connect to see if we’re a good fit.
My Approach
My work is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure & Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) and Emotion-Focused Therapy. I tailor every session to your unique needs, creating a collaborative space where we can explore your strengths, uncover healthier coping strategies, and work toward your goals.
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating:
Infertility and the trying-to-conceive journey
Postpartum depression and anxiety
Parenthood’s unique challenges
I’m here to keep it real
I believe that being human and authentic is a vital part of being a therapist. While I may present as polished and put together, like anyone else, I’ve had my own share of life’s ups and downs. I bring that understanding and resilience into my work, creating a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves.
Therapy is a partnership, and finding the right fit is essential. My goal is to meet you where you are and work with you to uncover your strengths, navigate challenges, and build a path forward that feels right for you.
